Its silver-toned stainless steel case, deep black dial, white details, and choice of matching bracelet or interchangeable NATO leather strap create a purposeful look that balances historic character with modern usability.

Design and Case

The watch features the same 43.5 mm stainless steel case as the original Bulova Lunar Pilot chronograph. Its proportions give the model a strong wrist presence while preserving the clear, functional character associated with the original design.

At 3 o’clock, slim chronograph pushers sit alongside a crown finished with Bulova’s signature tuning fork logo. These controls provide a clean, purposeful arrangement and reinforce the watch’s unmistakable chronograph identity. A flat sapphire crystal protects the dial while maintaining the streamlined profile of the case.

Dial and Chronograph Display

Beneath the flat sapphire crystal, the six-hand chronograph dial is rendered in a deep black shade evocative of space. Stark white accents provide a crisp contrast, including the tachymeter ring and the retro Bulova logo. Slim hands and applied hour markers support exceptional legibility, while Super-LumiNova treatment enables the display to be read in low-light conditions.

Three recessed, circular grooved sub-dials add depth and organize the timing functions:

• 3 o’clock: 1/20 chronograph seconds counter
• 6 o’clock: running seconds
• 9 o’clock: 60-minute chronograph counter
