Design & Styling

The watch is defined by the contrast between its silver dial and predominantly black exterior. The 46 mm case gives the design a strong wrist presence, while the black PVD plating across the stainless steel case creates a dark, uniform finish. Black PVD-plated stainless steel hands and indexes continue this treatment on the dial, creating a coordinated appearance against the silver background.

The result is a modern chronograph aesthetic that balances a bright dial surface with dark case and display elements. The date aperture between 4 and 5 o’clock is integrated into the dial layout without disrupting the watch’s overall visual character.

Case & Dial

The case measures 46 mm in diameter and 12 mm in thickness. It is made from stainless steel and finished with black PVD plating, giving the watch its characteristic dark exterior. A solid caseback completes the rear of the case and contributes to the watch’s robust, purpose-built presentation.

At the front, the silver dial provides a clear contrasting foundation for the black PVD-plated stainless steel hands and indexes. The chronograph layout supports the watch’s sporting, instrument-inspired appearance, while the date display between 4 and 5 o’clock adds a useful calendar function.

Movement & Functionality

Powering the AR11048 is a Japanese-made quartz chronograph movement. Quartz technology provides the foundation for the watch’s timekeeping, while the chronograph function adds stopwatch-style timing capability to the design. The integrated date display further supports daily use.

Strap & Wearability

The watch is fitted with a black silicone strap measuring 22 mm in width and 20 cm in length. Its black finish complements the PVD-plated case and hands, maintaining the model’s cohesive dark styling. A stainless steel buckle provides the fastening, completing the practical and contemporary strap configuration.

Water Resistance

The Emporio Armani AR11048 is water resistant to 50 metres, equivalent to 5 ATM.
