Design & Styling

Designed with a substantial 45 mm presence and an 11 mm case thickness, this Emporio Armani watch makes a confident impression on the wrist while retaining a polished, dress-oriented character. The rose gold PVD finish gives the stainless steel case a rich metallic tone, while the bronze dial introduces a complementary layer of warmth. Together, these elements create a coordinated palette that is elegant without appearing overstated.

The polished case finish is echoed by the rose gold PVD-plated hands, Roman numeral indexes and stainless steel buckle. This consistent detailing gives the watch a unified appearance from the case through to the strap fastening.

Dial & Display

The bronze dial serves as the visual centre of the AR1701, providing a warm backdrop for the rose gold PVD-plated hands and Roman numeral indexes. The chronograph layout adds functional character to the dial, while the integrated date display is positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock for convenient reference without interrupting the principal hour markers.

With both chronograph functionality and a date indication, the display is designed to offer more than basic timekeeping while preserving the watch’s refined, traditional styling.

Case & Construction

The 45 mm case is made from 316L stainless steel and finished with polished rose gold PVD plating. At 11 mm thick, it provides a substantial profile while maintaining a clean, carefully finished silhouette. A solid caseback completes the construction, giving the reverse of the watch a robust and understated appearance.

Movement & Functions

Powering the watch is a Japanese-made quartz chronograph movement. In addition to quartz timekeeping, the movement supports chronograph functionality for measuring elapsed time and includes a calendar date display. The date aperture is located between 4 and 5 o’clock on the dial.

Strap & Water Resistance

The watch is fitted with a brown leather strap, whose natural tone complements the bronze dial and rose gold PVD case. A rose gold PVD-plated 316L stainless steel buckle provides a coordinated fastening and completes the material and colour scheme.

Rated to 30 metres of water resistance, equivalent to 3 ATM, the AR1701 is designed for everyday exposure to water within that stated rating.
