The Tissot Seastar 1000 Chronograph combines a purposeful diver-style design with the precision and functionality of a Swiss-made quartz chronograph. Case and Diver-Style Construction
The round 316L stainless steel case measures 45.5 mm in diameter and 12.8 mm in thickness, giving the watch a substantial presence on the wrist. Its solid caseback contributes to the robust, purpose-built character of the Seastar 1000 collection.
A uni-directional anti-clockwise rotating bezel reinforces the watch’s diving-oriented design. The screw-down crown adds another practical detail to the case construction, while the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal helps protect the dial from everyday wear.
Black Dial and Chronograph Display
The black dial provides a clear background for the stainless steel luminous hands and indexes, supporting easy reading in low-light conditions. The layout is complemented by a small-seconds display and a date window positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock.
Three dedicated sub-dials broaden the timing capabilities of the chronograph, displaying 1/10 seconds, 60 seconds, and 30 minutes. The ADD and SPLIT functions provide additional flexibility when recording elapsed times, making the watch suitable for a range of timing requirements.
Swiss Quartz Movement
Powering the watch is a Swiss-made quartz ETA G10.212 movement. The movement incorporates the chronograph, small-seconds display, date indication, and the specified timing functions. It uses a Renata 394 EOL battery and contains 4 jewels.

The 316L stainless steel bracelet measures 17 cm in length and 21 mm in width. It is fitted with a folding clasp incorporating both a safety feature and a diver extension, providing a secure fastening and practical adaptability for diving use.
