Overview

Designed for women who appreciate a distinctive black watch with functional detailing, the Ceramica AR1401 combines a polished black ceramic case with a matching black ceramic bracelet. The dial is arranged around three sub-dials, giving the watch its chronograph character, while the date display between 4 and 5 o’clock adds a useful calendar feature without interrupting the principal dial design.

Luminous stainless steel hands and Roman numeral indexes provide contrast against the black dial. This combination brings a classic watchmaking detail to the otherwise sleek, tonal styling and supports legibility in lower-light conditions.

Design & Construction

The 38mm case measures 12mm in thickness and is finished in polished black ceramic. Its dark, reflective surface gives the watch a smooth and coordinated appearance, with the case and bracelet working together as a single design. A solid stainless steel caseback completes the construction.

The watch uses a push-pull crown, preserving the clean lines of the case while providing the control needed for setting and operating the watch. The overall profile balances a noticeable chronograph presence with the streamlined look of ceramic construction.

Dial & Chronograph Display

A black dial reinforces the watch’s tonal aesthetic. Three sub-dials introduce the layered layout associated with a chronograph, adding visual depth and a technical point of focus. Stainless steel hands and Roman numeral indexes are luminous, combining a polished metallic appearance with visibility in dim conditions.

The date window is positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock. This placement keeps the date readily available while allowing the central dial arrangement and sub-dials to remain prominent.

Movement & Wearability

Powering the watch is a Japanese-made quartz chronograph movement. Quartz operation offers a straightforward and convenient format for daily timekeeping, while the chronograph layout provides additional timing functionality. The 18mm black ceramic bracelet is fitted with a hidden deployment clasp, maintaining the uninterrupted look of the bracelet and allowing it to be secured neatly around the wrist.

The watch is water resistant to 30 metres, equivalent to 3 ATM. It is supplied brand new with the correct box and paperwork.
