The watch is designed around a clean, coordinated stainless steel aesthetic. The 40mm case offers a balanced presence on the wrist, while its 13mm thickness gives the profile a substantial feel. The silver dial, stainless steel hands, and silver indexes maintain a consistent monochromatic look, allowing the dial texture and functional layout to remain the visual focus.

Dial & Display

The silver guilloché dial is the defining visual detail of the Valente. Its patterned surface adds depth and visual interest without moving away from the watch’s understated silver palette. Stainless steel hands provide a coordinated contrast against the dial, and the silver indexes reinforce the structured appearance of the display.

A date aperture is positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock, adding useful calendar information while preserving the overall balance of the dial. The chronograph layout gives the watch its functional identity and complements the precise, modern styling of the Valente design.

Case, Bracelet & Construction

The 40mm case is made from 316L stainless steel and measures 13mm in thickness. A solid caseback completes the rear of the watch, providing a durable, closed construction. The matching bracelet is also crafted from stainless steel, with a 316L stainless steel deployment clasp for a secure and practical fastening system.

The integrated relationship between the steel case and bracelet gives the watch a unified appearance from case to clasp. It also ensures that the silver-toned finish remains consistent throughout the primary exterior components.

Movement & Water Resistance

Powering the watch is a Japanese-made quartz chronograph movement. Quartz operation provides the movement type specified for this model, while the chronograph function adds timing capability to the standard time display.

The AR1702 is water resistant to 30 metres, equivalent to 3 ATM. This stated rating is part of the watch’s specifications and should be observed in accordance with appropriate care and use.
