Dial & Date Display

The blue dial forms the centrepiece of the watch, providing a rich backdrop for the gold PVD-plated stainless steel hands and indexes. These coordinated details help establish a unified appearance and offer clear visual contrast against the dial. The date display is positioned at 4 o’clock, adding useful calendar information while preserving the dial’s overall arrangement.

Case & Construction

The case is made from 316L stainless steel and measures 41 mm in diameter and 10 mm in thickness. This material provides the foundation for the watch’s durable construction and complements the stainless steel bracelet. A solid caseback completes the case design, presenting a robust, enclosed reverse rather than an exhibition-style movement view.

Movement & Functionality

Powering the AR1868 is a Japanese-made quartz movement. Quartz technology provides the practical foundation for the watch’s timekeeping, while the integrated date display adds everyday convenience. The movement is housed beneath the solid caseback, keeping the focus on the watch’s blue dial and two-tone exterior.

Two-Tone Bracelet

The watch is fitted with a 20 mm two-tone bracelet made from stainless steel with gold PVD plating. Its design continues the colour scheme of the case and dial furniture, creating a cohesive appearance from the wrist to the watch head. The bracelet is secured with a stainless steel deployment clasp, providing a neat fastening solution suited to the watch’s polished presentation.

Water Resistance

The AR1868 is water resistant to 50 metres, equivalent to 5 ATM. This stated rating forms part of the watch’s practical specification and supports its suitability for routine daily wear. Water resistance should always be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s intended conditions.
