Dial, Display & Bezel

The matte black dial provides a low-reflection, legible backdrop for the luminous hands and markers. These luminous elements make the time easier to read in reduced-light conditions while reinforcing the watch’s functional, sporty identity. A day-date display adds useful everyday information alongside the time display.

Framing the dial is a matte black, unidirectional bezel. Its directional design and sporty styling contribute to the watch’s tool-inspired appearance and provide a clear visual contrast against the gunmetal case.

Automatic Movement & Performance

At the heart of the Seiko SRPD65K1 is Seiko’s automatic Caliber 4R36 movement. It operates through the wearer’s movement, allowing the watch to run without a battery. This mechanical approach adds character to the ownership experience while delivering the convenience of an automatic watch for regular wear.

The movement offers an approximate power reserve of 41 hours. When fully powered, this reserve allows the watch to continue operating for approximately that period when not being worn, subject to the conditions of use.

Case, Crystal & Water Resistance

The gunmetal stainless steel case is paired with a Hardlex crystal, providing a resilient covering for the dial. The watch is rated for water resistance to 100 metres, equivalent to 10 bar, adding practical protection for everyday use and water-related activities as specified for this model.

Strap & Wearing Experience

A black nylon strap completes the SRPD65K1. Measuring 22 mm in width, it fits naturally with the watch’s contemporary sports styling and keeps the overall design focused on comfort, versatility, and practical daily wear. Together with the dark case and dial, the strap creates a unified monochrome profile that transitions easily from the office to outdoor environments.
